Biography
Attorney Justin K. Summary focuses his practice on matters related to criminal defense and civil cases.
Criminal:
In 2005, Mr. Summary began his career as a public defender. Since going into private practice in 2007, he has represented clients in cases ranging from minor traffic violations to class A felonies, taken numerous depositions, successfully argued motions for the suppression of evidence, tried cases before a jury and before a judge, handled criminal appeals for clients, and worked closely with each client throughout the process. He is admitted to practice law in Missouri, Illinois, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
Civil:
Since 2007, Mr. Summary has headed a flourishing civil practice. The bulk of his caseload, which consists mostly of personal injury cases (such as those arising from automobile accidents and premises liability incidents), is generated through referrals from other lawyers. All court appearances, depositions, and trials are handled by him personally for each client. He is licensed to take on cases in Missouri, Illinois, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.
